With over 35 years working in healthcare finance, strategic planning and managed care services, Dave has a broad range of leadership experience in the healthcare industry. In his current role as President of Suburban Health Organization (SHO), Dave has ultimate management responsibility for Strategic Planning, Business Development, Governance, Operations, and Finance. He also oversees Managed Care Services including payer contracting on behalf of the SHO hospitals and their employed physician practices. In addition, Dave leads the SHO CFO Council where hospital financial executives meet regularly to discuss industry trends, review value-based contract results and identify expense reduction initiatives.
Dave is also the Executive Director of the SHO ACO providing management and oversight for the accountable care organization’s efforts to create a healthier community, improve healthcare quality, and lower healthcare costs.
Prior to joining SHO, Dave was Director of Managed Care Services and the St. Vincent Care Management Organization at St. Vincent Health. He currently serves on boards for SHO SPC, LTD a captive insurance company, and the Strategic Regional Health Care (SRHO), National Association.
Dave holds a B.S. in Industrial Management degree from Purdue University and earned certification as a Certified Public Accountant.
