The National Hospital Price Transparency Conference is hosted by the Employers’ Forum of Indiana, with a generous grant from the National Institute for Health Care Reform.
This one-day event will focus on the three-part National Hospital Price Transparency Study. This collaborative project between the RAND Corporation and the Employers’ Forum of Indiana aims to help employers contract for hospital services that offer the best value (best quality at best cost). In the studies, commercial inpatient and outpatient hospital prices are publicly noted by hospital name. These prices are then compared with Medicare reimbursement rates for the same procedures and facilities to report relative prices across the U.S.
As a conference attendee, you will be among the first to hear the results of part three of the National Hospital Price Transparency Study (“RAND 3.0”). You will also learn about the variability of value among hospital systems, participate in interactive panel discussions featuring hospital and employer executives, hear about recent developments in healthcare policy, and network with industry colleagues from across the nation.
This conference is best suited for those across the U.S. whose purview includes employee health benefits, health plan design, provider payment, and those with an interest in health policy.
The Employers’ Forum of Indiana is proud to announce the inception of the Healthcare Innovation Award, to be presented at the National Hospital Price Transparency Conference, held this year on May 12, 2020, at the Eiteljorg Museum in Indianapolis, IN. Nominations will be accepted until April 24, 2020.
