Dear Forum Members,
Anthem, the largest insurer in the state of Indiana, is hosting its Annual Public Forum on Wednesday, August 31, 2022 to present information on their 2021 premiums and financial performance and to give Indiana stakeholders an opportunity to provide comments and feedback.
After advocacy from many organizations, including the Forum, such public forums became mandatory in 2021 following the enactment of SEA 325. The meeting is designed to:
- Obtain feedback from the community about the company’s performance in the previous year
- Discuss the pricing of premiums and health services
Because last year was the first occasion for these public forums, we suspect the 2022 public forums will be substantially improved and encourage everyone to attend the insurer and hospital meetings to provide feedback on how they can improve. You can submit all questions to events@anthem.com before the forum. Questions may also be submitted during the meeting via the chat.
